It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Today is Christmas in July with stores rolling out holiday decorations at bargain prices. I toured stores locally and found holiday decorations everywhere.

Some people are upset with retailers kicking off the holiday shopping season with Christmas in July sales. They feel it's just another example of how the true meaning of Christmas has been lost to consumerism and greed.

Summer is so short in central New York, most just want to enjoy the season while it lasts. Unless stores are giving me a gift to celebrate Christmas in July instead of taking my money, I'll wait til November to shop.

What do you think? Is July too early for Christmas sales?
