Is Carrie Underwood the Next American Idol Judge?

Could Carrie Underwood go from contestant to judge at American Idol?  Following last week's surprising announcements that Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez were leaving the show, the rumor mill is running fast as to who may be their replacements.

According to Music City USA News, Carrie Underwood is one of the names being mentioned as a possible replacement.  There's also speculation that Randy Jackson may move to a different roll on the show and leave the judging table too.  Do you think Carrie would make a good judge?  Or is time to shut the show down?
