Iowa Woman Gives Birth To Nearly 14 Pound Boy

An Iowa woman gave birth recently to a 13 pound, 13 ounce baby boy and she did it without an epidural. According to the Des Moines Register Kendall Stewardson of Des Moines delivered baby boy Asher after some 6 hours of labor unaided by any pain medication. Amazing as this is it is not unusual for Kendall. Fifteen months ago she gave birth to another big boy, Judah, who weighed in at 12 pounds, one ounce. Kendall and her husband Joshua agreed that a natural childbirth was the way to go.
“We wanted to avoid a C-section because that would have not been good for me or the baby,” Kendall said. “We didn’t want to forfeit the best possible outcome.”
Baby Asher and mom are doing just fine and word has it that the little guy will drive mom and dad home in a few days. (Kidding).
