The Ilion Pop Warner football program had two of its donation jars stolen and now police are asking for your help to find answers.

In Ilion, the Pop Warner football program has a "No child left behind program." This means, that the program will let kids come in play who are facing financial difficulties. They're also allowed to play for free or to fund raise their dues as well.

Recently, donation jars were stolen that were full of cash for the children. Unfortunately this isn't the first time the program has dealt with adversity. According to WKTV, they've dealt with a few issues recently:

"This year we've had a couple incidents, we've unfortunately dealt with some vandalism," said Bill Pope. "We've dealt with some kids defacing our equipment."

Another incident invloving youth programs occurred last year when Ilion boy scouts had to put their chicken barbecue on hold after their grills were stolen."

Police are currently investigating and if you have any information please call Ilion police at 894-9911. So far a GoFundMe page has been set up to replace the funds. You can donate by Clicking Here.
