The Top 11 American Idol finalists took on songs from Sir Elton John.  Country boy Scotty McCreery opened the show with "Country Comfort."  A song he choose simply because it had "Country" in the title.

Lauren Alaina put a little country flavor into one of Elton John's most famous songs, "Candle In The Wind."  It was arguably her best performance to date.

A week after being saved, Casey Abrams had to bring his best to stick around another week.  He brought out his softer side with "Your Song."  But was it enough to keep him safe from the vote this week?  I think so.

Haley Reinhart closed the show with "Benny & The Jets."  As they say, they saved the best for last.  Or so said judge Jennifer Lopez.

Season 3 champ Fantasia will be back tonight to perform.  Two will be sent packing after Casey was saved last week.  Naima Adedapo's days are done but I don't know who will be the second sent home.  I'm tired of Jacob Lusk's over the top songs and Pia Toscano's over the top comments from the judges.  She's good, but not THAT good.  Her version of "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" was a little too much.  Scotty, Lauren, Haley and James Durbin will sail through to the next round.  As for the second one to go tonight, it could be Paul, Stefano or Thia.  Since Stefano was in the bottom last week, my guess would be he'd be out this week.  Tune in tonight at 8 on FOX to find out or tune in tomorrow morning at 8:10.

Who do you think will go home?
