Hurricane Sandy from NASA’s Earth Observatory [VIDEO-PHOTO]
While many people have expressed mild anger over what seemed to be "over-hype" of Hurricane Sandy's effects in Central New York, this picture may explain why many officials were so alarmed. This photo was taken by NASA's Earth Observatory at about 3:35 this morning as the storm was at it's peak. The video shows the dawn to dusk movement of Sandy.
Clouds from Hurricane Sandy stretched from the coast all the way to Chicago.
