Whether your making maple syrup as a side project or it's your main source of income, Cornell Cooperative Extension's Beginning Farmer's Project  can show you how to maximize your syrup production and even how to increase your income with other trees.

The program consists of webinars on Tuesday evenings, January 17 thru February 21. And while the course is titled, "Introduction To Maple Syrup Production," it's intended for the inexperienced and the well-qualified producer.  Topics covered include; basic start-up, best ways to collect sap, different ways to turn sap into syrup, marketing your products and even how to make money on trees other than maple.

The best thing about webinars, while they are held every Tuesday night from 6 - 7:30, they're recorded and you can watch them anytime that's convenient for you.  Here's the full course outline.  The full 6 week course is $250, you can register online.
