Do you love gardening?  If it's more like a way of life than a hobby, you may want to consider becoming a Master Gardener at Cornell Cooperative Extension.  Here's how.

The "Master Gardener" title is not simply attending a few training sessions.  The program's sessions occur over the course of two years with training held one Saturday a month from April through November.  Classes begin April 2nd from 10:00am to 3:00pm.

CCE is looking for motivated individuals who not only have an interest in gardening, but are willing to share that knowledge through community outreach at the Extension’s Parker F. Scripture Botanical Gardens and out in the community. Cost of the training is $150 for Oneida County residents and $200 for those out of the County.

You can download an application and get more details online or contact Holly at 315-736-3394 extension 125.  Completed applications are due March 15th.
