Unlike other non-federal U.S. holidays, like Valentine's Day and Halloween, St. Patrick's Day isn't quite the money maker--but, the amount of money being spent on the St. Patrick's Day celebration is predicted to increase this year.

According to the National Retail Federation, the average person is going to spend $33.97 on St. Patty's Day in 2011. And, that's an increase from last year, which was $33.05.

Other findings from the NRF survey show 122 million Americans are going to be celebrating the March 17th holiday. And out of those 122 million, 38 million people are going to be heading to bars and restaurants to attend St. Patrick's Day parties.

As for those showing their colors, 102 million people are going to wear green for the holiday.

How are you going to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, if at all?
