Bears, bears, everywhere bears. That was the scene on the ice for the 9th annual 'Teddy Bear Toss' Saturday night, at the Utica Aud.

UC Pioneer fans brought bags of bears to the sold out game, to toss out when the first goal was score.  That moment came 5:41 into the game thanks to Ridge Garbutt.

Volunteers and players from both teams flooded the ice to collect the stuffed toys that  will be given to local families in need.  First the teddy bears will be on display at New York Sash, where you can still donate. The toss collected 4500 bears last year and Scott Hayes from New York Sash, hopes to top that this year.

Stop by the Idea and Design Center Showroom at New York Sash to see the bears display and guess how many were collected. If you're the closest to the exact number of teddy bears collected this year, you WIN!

The Pioneer's skated to a 5-1 win over Salve Regina University.
