Well, with the cold spring we've had so far, most of us would probably like to head to a tropical beach somewhere.  Now, a new study shows that warm climates and other factors affect our overall level of happiness.

"Hawaii has been named the happiest state by the annual Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index, which ranks all 50 states by their level of happiness. Following close on the heels of Hawaii are the happy states of Wyoming, North Dakota, Alaska, Colorado and Minnesota. At the other end of this list are the least happy states, led by West Virginia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama and Ohio. LiveScience.com reports residents of happy states tend to be wealthier, better educated, more tolerant and more knowledgeable about healthy behaviors."
