How About A Summer Day Trip?
August 18, 2011 2:10 PM Well, the Frog Days of Summer are flying by, and maybe you’ve had that vacation week or two already. If you have a few vacation days left, and just want to take a day trip here and there, you’re in the right place!
Living in central New York, we are just that – centrally located near dozens of lakes, cities and towns, mountains and tourist attractions. You can find everything from history along the Erie Canal trail to the fun of amusement rides at Sylvan Beach Amusement Park. Sometimes it’s fun to just pack a lunch and go. Check out the Oneida County Convention and Visitors Bureau and Madison County Tourism sites as a start.
So, whether it’s a visit to Fort Stanwix in Rome or the Munson Williams Proctor Arts Institute Museum in Utica, there’s plenty to see and do.
