Herkimer County FSA Office Going to Part Time Hours

Just like farmers tighten their belts during this bleak run of milk prices, the USDA is reducing expenses. One of the casualties will be the Farm Service Agency offices in Herkimer County. They'll be going to part time hours.

Beginning June 12, the Herkimer County office will only be open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Beginning July 31, hours will be reduced to one Wednesdays only 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

All the services provided by the FSA will remain the same, work will just be done through the Oneida County office located at 9025 River Road in Marcy. Their contact information, phone: 315-736-3316 fax:855-558-7595.

As they transition to the new schedule you're encouraged to make appointments for face to face business discussions to insure all the paperwork is in the proper office.
