They say music calms the savage beast, apparently fresh produce doesn't hurt either. The Cornell Cooperative Extension 4-H Program in Herkimer County spent their summer maintaining a garden at the Utica Zoo. Their payoff comes Monday.

This coming Monday morning at 10, the Utica Zoo Garden Program will conclude the season with their final harvest. Following the work they'll get a behind the scenes tour to see how their produce interacts with the zoo animals.

If you're a 4-H member you can watch the process as well. You do need to preregister no later than October 6. Do so by calling the Herkimer County 4-H Office at 315-866-7920.
