There's little doubt we're home to some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. And when you get off the beaten path, it's nothing short of spectacular. The Department of Environmental Conservation is making Tug Hill's Inman Gulf more accessible beginning this weekend." The DEC encourages you to hike "NY's Hidden Gems" and this is one of them.  The John Young trail within the Tug Hill State Forest at Barnes Corners will make viewing Inman Gulf much more accessible to those with mobility issues and parents with children in strollers. The site has two easy access parking spaces "with a firm and stable surface that is 60 inches wide." The trail will open with a ribbon cutting ceremony this Friday morning (6/2) at 10. The trail is located about 10 miles east of Adams Center of I-81.  Here's directions from Google Maps. SOURCE: Department of Environmental Conservation
