Have You Ever Sworn At Your Computer?
January 22, 2013 10:10 AM We’ve all had computer problems, but the question is, have you ever sworn at your computer? (I’m doing it now)! A new research study says that many of you have, and that’s not all.
According to a a worldwide survey conducted by Alvira, an IT security firm, nearly 40 percent of those interviewed admitted that they have cursed at their computer at one time or another.
Here are some other interesting tidbits from that survey:
11 percent wished ill-will on the company that created the hardware and software for their computer.
9 percent admitted hitting their computer with their fist or an object like a baseball bat (A little cyber rage here)
3 percent said they picked up their computer and threw it on the ground (Do not try this at home).
Just a few suggestions:
1. Remember how much that computer costs
2. Try to control your anger at an inanimate object like a computer
3. Remember, everybody has computer frustrations.
4. Walk away from the computer for a bit, and try to have a good laugh.
