Harrison Ford Returning As “Hans Solo” In “Star Wars:Episode VII”

A lot of people raised their eyebrows when Sean Connery came back to play James Bond one more time in “Never Say Never Again” back in 1983. “Too old to play an action hero” many said. Some of those same people may be raising their eyebrows again about Harrison Ford’s reported decision to reprise his role as Hans Solo in the upcoming “Star Wars: Episode VII”.
This idea had been floating around in the rumor stage for months but now, according to Latin Review’s El Mayimbe who has a pretty solid track record about these things, Ford, 70, has signed on to play the iconic character in the film due out in May of 2015. Will the force still be with him as he heads to the big inter-planetary bingo parlor or will age have caught up with one of our favorite space vehicle captain. Time will tell.
