If your household is like mine, "NCIS" is  on a TV somewhere in the house Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. on CBS. And with syndication, it seems like "NCIS" is on just about every day of the week. One of this popular show's stars, David McCallum is celebrating his 78th birthday today.

I remember David McCallum from my youth when he was the dashing co-star of NBC's spy show "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.".

Here's a recent on-the-spot interview with McCallum. The camera is a little shaky, but McCallum's answers are worth watching.

And, a little background on "Ducky" courtesy of Wikipedia:

"David Keith McCallum, Jr. (born 19 September 1933) is a Scottish actor and musician. He is best known for his roles as Illya Kuryakin, a Russian-born secret agent, in the 1960s television series The Man from U.N.C.L.E., as interdimensional operative Steel in Sapphire & Steel, and Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard in the series NCIS.
