Hank William Jr. will be looking for all his rowdy friends when he closes out the grandstand shows at the New York state fair this summer. He'll take the stage August 30th.

Acting Fair Director Troy Waffner says "we have been thinking about ways to thank fans for four decades of loyalty to the Grandstand shows. While we can't roll prices all the way back to the level when Charley Pride played the very first show here in 1976 for $6 and $3, we can push them back to a level where many more people can enjoy these shows by these legendary performers."

Tickets will be $20 and $15 and go on sale at 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 15th. Get them at etix.com, by calling 1-800-514-3849 or at the State Fair Box Office. All tickets include your admission to the fair that runs from August 27 to September 7.
Starting next year, fair concerts will move to the new amphitheater, along Onondaga Lake.

Chris Stapleton will open the show that begins at 7:30pm.
