We're just days away from Halloween. Will you be buying a costume or creating your own?

If you're making your own costume, Goodwill is a great place to find what you need. Halloween is the busiest time of year for Goodwill stores. 10% of the company's $50 million sales occur in October. It's their Christmas.

The average Goodwill costume with accessories costs between $20-$40, a lot cheaper than buying one from a Halloween store.

We've shopped at Goodwill the last two years. The green shirt to completed the Louis Griffin costume and the Duck Dynasty outfits only needed black clothes and a hat. The wigs and beard didn't come from Goodwill but both costumes cost less than shopping at Halloween shop.

What homemade costumes have you worn or seen?
