Grocery Prices On the Rise

We are all aware at just how much the price of gas has gone up but how about other everyday essentials. The Bureau of Labor Statistics latest report shows that prices for all six grocery food groups rose during March. Fox Business looked at the cost of various food items over the years and how much they have gone up.
Now 2010 5 Years Ago
Bread $1.41 $1.37 $1.08
LB Butter $3.69 $3.13 $2.92
Dozen Eggs $1.73 $1.66 $1.31
Ice Cream $4.92 $4.47 $3.75
LB Tomatoes $2.09 $1.69 $1.73
So not only does it cost more to drive to and from the store it also costs more to shop! With middle class wages stuck in neutral it just makes you wonder who is getting all that money.
