Green Bay Packers: Super Bowl Champs

It was hyped to be a good game between two strong teams.  And that it was.  Green Bay was just stronger.

The Packers beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-25 for their first Super Bowl win since 1997.  Aaron Rogers was named the game MVP.  He threw three touchdowns, two to Greg Jennings and didn’t have an interception.  Pittsburgh on the other hand turned the ball over three times.

Tough to win a game when you turn the ball over to a team who didn’t make any mistakes.  And they did it without their star player Charles Woodson, who left in the second quarter.

Vince Lombardi is heading back home.  At least for the next year anyway
