Great New York State Fair Gets Great Reviews
August 7, 2012 11:13 AM The Great New York State Fair in Syracuse is one of my “Frog Days Of Summer” must do destinations. In fact, it’s been a family tradition for two decades that my daughter (and my son at times too) and I go the the fair, and we’re heading there again in a few weeks. A recent magazine article gives the New York State Fair very high marks!
According to the New York State Fair,
Country Living Magazine recently identified the New York State Fair as one of the five best state fairs in the United States, ranking it among the largest and most prominent state fairs in the country.
“When the Fair receives national recognition, it proves what New Yorker’s have known for 165 years now: The New York State Fair is a timeless, family oriented tradition,” Fair Director Dan O’Hara said. “We offer an educational, entrepreneurial and entertaining venue that offers some of the best free music in the country.”
Country Living Magazine is one of the 50 biggest magazines in America.
The New York State Fair is the oldest State Fair in the country. It attracts nearly 1 million people every year.”
The Great New York State Fair 2012 runs August 23 – September 3.
