If there is a future veterinarian in your home?  Then don't miss Cornell Cooperative Extension's Winter Vet Series.  The program, for 6th through 8th graders, coincides with the Winter School Break and will feature tours at a clinic and farm.

The 2 day program is February 20th and 21st from 9:00-12:00 each day with the theme, “All System's Go”.

Day one will be held at the Waterville Veterinary Clinic.  A tour of the facility on surgery day and kids should get a world of different experiences with animals.

Day Two is at Tayl-Wind Farm in Cassville.  A tour of the farm that uses robotic milkers and how they help Vets.  There will also be discussion about fresh cows and potential health problems.

The program is through the 4-H Youth Development program.  The cost is $15 for members and $20 for non-members. You must register by February 17th.  You can do so online or call 315-736-3394 extension 108.
