Trace Adkins is putting the finishing touches on his Christmas tour before he hits the road, with a stop at the Stanley Theater November 22nd. He'll perform Celtic Carols from his first holiday album 'The Kings Gift.'

When we talked with Trace last month, he told us this is the biggest troupe he’s been out with. ‘To pull this off live, you have to have the string section, you have to have the pipes and the whistles. All the stuff that makes it Celtic.’

See pictures of the final dress rehearsal, complete with Christmas tree, Uilleann pipe, which I'd never heard of, and Lily Costner, who will tour with Trace.

Trace has been releasing music since 1995 but 'The Kings Gift' is one of his favorites, ‘musically this is the most beautiful project I’ve ever been a part of. It has nothing to do with my vocals. It’s all about these musician and background singers. It’s just a great record.’

Listen to Trace with Kevin Costner and his daughter Lily, on 'Silent Night.' I wouldn't have known it was Kevin Costner on this song, if someone hadn't told me.  He sounds great!

Tickets range from $25 to $65 and can be purchased at The Stanley Box Office (10 AM-4 PM), by calling (315) -724-4000 or at Ticketmaster.com. Tickets can also be purchased through TraceAdkins.com.

Proceeds from the show benefit the Stanley and Valley Health Services.
