Gloriana at Turning Stone Tonight
November 26, 2011 8:04 AM Its the night that’s been four years in the making. Local boys Mike & Tom Gossin of Gloriana are finally back for a hometown show. They’ll be in the showroom at Turning Stone for their first hometown show since becoming Gloriana and touring all over the world with Taylor Swift.
I had the opportunity to talk with Tom Gossin about the hometown show and they are excited to bring the house down. The band recently performed ‘Soldier Song’ on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. A song inspired after their tour of military bases overseas. And the audience, which was full of members of the military, gave them a standing ovation. I’m sure they’ll sing it tonight for Thanksgiving weekend, so we should give them a standing ovation too. I’m sure you’ll also hear their new song ‘(Kissed You) Good Night,’ which Tom Gossin co-wrote. The band recently shot the video for the song, which should be out soon. And speaking of videos, they are up for GAC’s Top 50 videos of the year. You have until November 30th to cast your vote.
