Gifts, Cake and Saki Shots for Polly’s Birthday

Talk about being spoiled. Between gifts, cake, hundreds of Facebook wishes and dinner with family, what more could a girl ask for on her birthday.

The day started with so many birthday wishes it was hard to keep up on Facebook. Thanks to everyone who posted a wish on my page. You sure know how to make a girl feel special.

The afternoon was all about the gifts, lots and lots of gifts. Perfume, golf shoes, a golf cart cover for rainy and cold days, my favorite golf balls with my initials on each ball and the gift that keeps on giving; a $100 wine gift card.

Then it was off to my favorite restaurant for dinner with my family; Sumo. We've enjoyed the hibachi often and have NEVER had a bad meal. In addition to great food and chefs who entertain while they cook, there's Saki. They even have something for those underage.

The birthday celebration at Sumo includes more than singing and cake. There's the head you have to wear while everyone sings.

To end the evening it was cake. Black Forest cake. My favorite. And it came from Opals at Turning Stone, who makes the best Black Forest cake I've ever eaten. Since no one in the house like it but me, I may have to bring some into work to share.

Thanks again to everyone for making my birthday a memorable one. There's not much more a girl could ask for other than the golf season to begin, because I'm ready.
