The novel is a story about a country singer who returns home to Oklahoma for the holidays after a sold out show at Madison Square Gardens. Sound familiar? The main character is named Heath Sawyer, but the story sounds a lot like her son's. The book is filled with funny anecdotes inspired by the real holiday memories of Blake and his mom. Anything with Blake involved, has to be funny!
Writing is nothing new for Dorothy, who has penned dozens of songs over the years, including 'Time For Me to Come Home,' the duet she sings with her son Blake on his Christmas album. But this is the first time she's written a novel. It'll be available Tuesday October 29th. You can buy it online at Amazon or any book store.
