After a loooong, cold and snowy winter, get ready for a hotter than normal summer. The Farmers Almanac is predicting warmer temperatures for most of the U.S. with extra thunderstorms expected in the Northeast.

Although we may not see warmer weather until July, our area won't be as sweltering as most of the United States where predictions are 'much-above normal temperatures.'

Summer will be bit wetter than normal for the Northeast, with an abundance of thunderstorms expected. The far West will see drier conditions this summer while the East coast, from Florida to the Carolina's, will "be in the crosshairs for tropical cyclone activity in late July, followed by another threat to Florida in late August, and along the Gulf Coast in early September."

The good news is, June 13th will have 'pleasant conditions,' perfect FrogFest weather.
