Genesis Group Announces Clean Up Mohawk Valley Effort
March 12, 2013 1:05 PM Earth Day is Monday, April 22nd, and on that day, many of us will make more of an effort to be kind to the planet and the environment. Locally, there’s a clean-up the Mohawk Valley effort beginning April 1st.

“The Genesis Group’s 2013 Great American Cleanup will be taking place April 1st – May 31st.
Matt McKenna, the President and CEO of Keep America Beautiful, was at the Oneida-Herkimer Recycling Center today to help kick-off the effort.
Keep Mohawk Valley Beautiful is looking for volunteers to help clean roadways, parks and neighborhoods on the Regional Day of Action, which will take place on Saturday, April 27th.
