It looks like the Rochester branch of General Electric will be shuttering it's doors.

According to US News.com, GE is planning to close the plant by June of next year and move the facility's operation to China.

The company says less than 100 employees will be affected by the closing, although it isn't clear exactly how many people currently work at the factory in the Rochester Science park.

GE says any employees who lose their job as a result of the outsourcing will be given severance pay and reimbursed for tuition expenses.
