Getting details on Garth Brooks' comeback is painfully slow.  We now know the city where the next chapter of his career will begin.  Garth also revealed more details on the new album and his foray into the digital era of music.

Andy Roberts from Atlanta, who Garth promised would be the first to know about his touring plans didn't keep the secret long.  Using the kids at Atlanta Healthcare as a backdrop for the announcement, Andy revealed the comeback will begin in Chicago September 4th at Allstate Arena. The $65.50 tickets go on sale July 25 at 11AM EST at Ticketmaster. There is a six ticket maximum.

As for new music, Garth says the new double album will be released on "Black Friday." While that is usually consider to be the day after Thanksgiving, Garth says retailers may move the date up a week.  The entire back catalog of his music becomes available at 10 this morning at Garth Brooks.com

In other Garth news, despite BBC reports he says the planned Ireland concerts are officially cancelled and fans can begin seeking refunds.
