A video posted by Garth Brooks (@garthbrooks) on

Garth Brooks is on Instagram, and he’s pretty excited about hashtags.

The country legend posted his first piece of IG content on Tuesday morning. It was a video urging fans to ask him anything, followed by him saying, “#AskGarth … #Happy, #Garth, #MrYearwood, #YoureIt.”

The video was a snappier version of the one he posted to Facebook upon signing on to that social medium on Tuesday. He’s also logged in to Twitter and Vine. Teen social media powerhouse and musician Aaron Carpenter helped him with his first Vine.

All this comes after Brooks resisted social media for nearly a decade. In fact, earlier this year, he said he had no plans to join Facebook and Twitter, but he quickly seems to have taken to the platforms. In a day he collected more than 65,000 Twitter followers. The flurry comes as he releases his new album 'Man Against Machine' to stores and GhostTunes, his digital musical platform.
