Furby’s Are Back and Hotter Than Ever [VIDEO]

Furby, Hasbro’s hottest toy back in 1998, is back and as hot as ever. Mashable.com reports that the toy-similar to the original with some upgrades-has sold out at Walmart.com with a limited number available at Amazon.com, this despite a price tag of $54. What is different about Furby this time around?
Among the upgrades this time around: A more agile body and the addition of LCDs to replace the toy’s classic white eyes. There’s even a Furby iOS app, which sends inaudible sound codes to the toy.
Like the original Furby the updated model can communicate with other Furby’s, pcik up some human conversation and–remember parents–can only be silenced by removing is batteries. For a preview of the toy that might just drive you a little crazy check out this video.
