Fritz’s Polka Band Heading To Dyngus Day
If you’ve ever seen Fritz’s Polka Band on stage in the Utica-Rome area, you know they always put on a fun performance. Now, the band has announced that they’re hosting a bus trip to “Dyngus Day” taking place in Depew on April 1st, where they will be performing.

What’s Dyngus Day, you ask? According to dyngusdaybuffalo.com:
”Historically a Polish-American tradition, Dyngus Day celebrates the end of the often restrictive observance of lent and the joy of Easter. Over the decades, Dyngus Day has become a wonderful holiday to celebrate Polish-American culture, heritage and traditions.”

On April 1st, we plan on running a bus trip to our Dyngus Day gig at The Cove in Depew, NY. Although details are still being worked out, most likely we’d leave Verona, NY 8:30am and return a little after midnight.
