So, are you friends with your parents on Facebook? Well, if you're not, you're not alone.

According to Kaplan Test Prep, 35 percent of teens, whose parents are on Facebook, are not friends with them on the social networking site. Sometimes, the beauty of Facebook is the ability to not accept a friendship request. And, that's exactly what 38 percent of teens did. Those 38 percent said they have ignored their parent's requests to be friends.

I know a few teens who have had to friend their parents in order to sign-up to get a Facebook accounts. 16 percent of teens in this survey say their friendships with their parents was a pre-condition for them being allowed to be on Facebook.
