Frankfort Woman Has Lifetime Experience 1st Day Deer Hunting

You've heard of beginner's luck when it comes to poker and maybe even fishing, but how about when it comes to deer hunting.  Alicia Whiteman of Frankfort had never hunted but for some reason decided to give it a try this year.  Her story would make even an experienced hunter green with envy.

Alicia's father had always been a hunter, but she never showed any interest.  Even she's not sure why the bug bit her this year.  Fortunately, her boyfriend Mathew Shawl, from Esperance is an experienced and avid hunter.

We convinced Alicia to come into our studios and share her story, and she somehow convinced Mathew to take part in the interview.  She couldn't get him out of the woods, so he joined us on the phone while on a break from waterfowl hunting.  Our interview begins as we ask him if he ever had a similar experience in his 20 years of hunting.
