Frankfort-Schuyler Votes No On School Merger

School district issues always gain a lot of local attention, as did the proposed school district merger in the Valley yesterday.

According to our sister station WBX:

"Residents of the Frankfort-Schuyler School District have said no to a plan to merge four Herkimer County School Districts.

Frankfort voters defeated an advisory referendum yesterday 1,1,21 to 623, while residents in Ilion, Herkimer and Mohawk voted yes."
