If you're old enough to remember when attendants pumped the gas for you, you're old enough to remember when air and water were free at the filling station. I never said much when I had to find a quarter to pump up a low tire, but a buck? Are you kidding me? I instantly flashed back to Gomer at Wally's Filling Station on the Andy Griffith show, "water and air are free, but we charge for gas and oil."
