Now that we're well into October, it's the beginning of flu season in central New York. If you're looking to get a flu shot, the Oneida County Health Department has announced their schedule, which begins Friday, October 25th. We've got more details on the complete schedule.

Here's the flu shot immunization schedule, according to ocgov.net:

"Adults age 19 and over

Walk-in clinics. No appointment necessary.

406 Elizabeth Street, Utica.

Friday, October 25th, 1-3pm

Friday, November 1st, 1-3pm

Friday, November 8th, 1-3pm

Friday, November 15th, 1-3pm

Friday, November 22nd , 1-3pm

Friday, November 29th, 1-3pm

300 W. Dominick Street, Rome

Tuesday, October 29th from 11:00 am to 12-noon

Tuesday, November 12th from 11:00 am to 12-noon

Tuesday, November 26th from 11:00 am to 12-noon

Children ages 6 months to 18 years

Flu shots will be offered to children (and the adult with them) during our walk-in immunization clinics (see schedule below). If your child needs the flu shot only, you can avoid waiting by scheduling an appointment during certain clinic hours.
