The woman who played one of television's most iconic mothers has passed away at the age of 82. Florence Henderson is most known for her role of Carol Brady in the sitcom 'The Brady Brunch.'

Henderson's manager Kayla Pressman released a statement:

Henderson died Thursday night with her family and friends surrounding her from heart failure.

Henderson played the iconic television role for its entirety. It began in 1969 and ended in 1974.

Maureen McCormick, who played Henderson's on screen daughter Marsha Brady, tweeted her condolences.
