Flash flooding in central New York washed out roads, closed streets, turned backyards into water front property and left Chittenango Falls raging.

Listener videos show part of the road on Norton Avenue in Clinton being washed away, the Route 12 Arterial turned into a lake and rivers flowing down streets throughout central New York. Wait til you see Chittenango Falls.

A travel advisory bans unnecessary travel in Oneida and Madison Counties. Utica and Frankfort are under states of emergency.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for Southern Oneida and Madison counties until 8:15pm. The Oneida Creek in Oneida is expected to rise above flood stage around 6pm tonight and last until 8pm Sunday, July 2nd.
