4th of July is on its way, and whether you're throwing a party, attending one, or spending time camping you're going to want to make at least one of these 4th of July themed cocktails.

We did a little searching for recipes so we could save you time preparing. Also, these drinks are the simplest to prepare we could find, so you shouldn't have to order ingredients from Europe or spend hours making them.

1. Red, White & Blue Italian Ice

What you'll need:

  • Red Italian Ice - watermelon, cherry, or strawberry flavored
  • White Italian Ice - lemon flavored
  • Blue Italian Ice - blue raspberry flavored
  • Champagne or other sparkling wine - sweeter types such as sec or demi-sec Champagne or sparkling Moscato are recommended

To make:

  • Using a small cookie scoop or melon baller, scoop Italian ice into small balls.  Place 3 (or 4, if you'd like) Italian ice balls in a glass.
  • Fill remainder of glass with champagne/sparkling wine.
  • Serve immediately with a drink stirrer or straw for stirring the float & breaking up the Italian ice.
  • Try getting fancy by serving in champagne flutes or your favorite cocktail glass

2. Blueberry Strawberry Mojito

What you'll need:

  • 3 tablespoons fresh blueberries, plus additional for garnish
  • 2 fresh strawberries, diced, plus additional for garnish
  • 10-15 fresh mint leaves (a small handful), plus additional for garnish
  • about 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 ounces white rum
  • Ice
  • Club soda

To make:

  1. Muddle the blueberries, strawberries, mint, lime juice, and sugar in the bottom of a tall serving glass, until the sugar is dissolved and the berries break down. Add the rum and stir to combine.
  2. Fill the glass with ice, then top with club soda. Stir to combine, then garnish with additional mint leaves and berries as desired. Enjoy immediately.

3. Red, White & Blue Pina Colada

What you'll need:

  • 3 Oz. (2 shots) of Rum
  • 3 Oz. (2 shots) of Blue Curacao
  • 6 Oz. Pineapple Juice
  • 4.5 Oz. Cream of Coconut
  • 1 cup Fresh or Frozen Strawberries
  • 2 cups Ice

To make:

  • Add Rum, Pineapple Juice and Cream of Coconut and Ice to a blender.
  • Blend until Smooth.
  • Pour around ⅔ of the mixture into a separate container; leaving the rest in the blender.
  • Add Strawberries to remaining mixture in blender; blend until smooth.
  • Pour Strawberry mixture into drinking glasses, slowly pour ⅓ of the reserved Pina Colada mixture into the drinking glasses.
  • Add the remaining reserved mixture and Blue Curacao into the blender; blend until combined.
  • Slowly pour the blue mixture into the drinking glasses.

4. All American Daiquiri

What you'll need:

  • 2.25 oz Tequila
  • 1 oz Coconut Rum
  • .25 oz Triple Sec
  • .25 oz Pineapple Juice
  • 1 cup Piña Colada Mix
  • 1 cup Strawberry Daiquiri Mix
  • 1.25 cups Crushed Ice

To make:

  • In a blender with ice add Tequila, Malibu Rum, Triple Sec, pineapple juice and piña colada mix.
  • Blend until thick.
  • Pour half of blender in separate glass, then add Strawberry Daiquiri Mix to blender.
  • Blend until mixed and pour blended strawberry mix into mason jar.
  • Add the separate glass of blended product to the mason jar.

5. Red, White & Blue Vodka Lemonade Slushies

What you'll need:

  • 3 full trays of ice
  • 1 cup of cranberry juice
  • 1 cup of Blue Curacao
  • 1 cup vodka - plain or flavored
  • 1 cup of your favorite lemonade, or lemonade mix

To make:

  • In a blender on the ice crush setting, blend together the cranberry juice and ice of 1 tray until fully combined and slushy. Set aside.
  • Combine the Blue Curacao with another tray of ice and crush until slushy. Set aside.
  • Combine the vodka, lemonade and last ice tray and crush until slushy. Set aside.
  • Layer your drinks starting with the cranberry slush on the bottom, then the blue curacao slush and lastly the vodka lemonade slush on the top. Top with something fun and patriotic like mini American flags or swirly straws.
