We've enjoyed better than usual weather for some time, but that may be ending soon.  The National Weather Service is talking "Lake-Effect Snow" starting Thursday night.  Click for the details.

Temperatures will be falling throughout the day as some of the coldest weather of fall arrives over the next couple of days.   As usual with Lake-Effect Snow forecasts, exact amounts and locations are still being worked out.  The official NOAA forecast reads like this...
BANDS OF LAKE-EFFECT SNOW WILL LIKELY SET UP ACROSS THE REGION LATE THURSDAY NIGHT OR EARLY FRIDAY...THEN PERSIST INTO SATURDAY.  AT LEAST SEVERAL INCHES OF ACCUMULATION ARE EXPECTED...AND LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORIES MAY LATER BE NEEDED.
Counties forecast for the snow include; Northern and Southern Oneida, Madison, Southern Cayuga, Onondaga, Cortland, Chenango and Otsego.
