The battles have begun on 'The Voice.' Blake Shelton called on Little Big Town, who have the best harmonies in country music, to help mentor his team. The first battle was a country duel between Craig Wayne Boyd and James Carter David. Their rehearsal turned into a jam session with Blake and Little Big Town singing 'Bring It On Home.'

Craig and James made fans out of non-country listeners with Pat Green's 'Wave on Wave.' The performance was so good, Blake had a tough choice deciding who to keep. 'Gosh Craig, you're voice projects so much and with so much ease. James has these runs that he throws in that are from another planet. I wish somebody would have sucked, cuz it would make my decision a whole lot easier.'

Blake decided to keep James who was not only thrilled to be moving on, but excited to be singing a Pat Green song.

Looks like Mr. Pat Green approved.

#TeamGwen Steal

James may have won the battle for #TeamBlake but it isn't the end for Craig. Gwen Stefani used one of her 2 steals to pick him up for her team. A steal no one saw coming.  Despite the strange sounding match-up, Gwen is excited to finally have a country singer on her team.

#TeamBlake Steal

Gwen wasn't the only one to use a steal. Blake Shelton, who tried to convince Griffin to join his team during the blind auditions, got another change. He and Luke Wade battled it out with 'Maybe I'm Amazed.' After Pharrell chose to keep Luke, Blake battled Gwen to steal Griffin. 'Don't tell me no twice.' Griffin answered Blake's plea and went to #TeamBlake.

The battles continue tonight at 8 on NBC.
