A thousand dollar ice cream sundae? It's real and you can have one. You don't have to hit the lottery, but you do need the golden ticket.

Move over Willie Wonka. Serendipity 3, the iconic NYC restaurant, is handing out golden tickets. Find one to win the most expensive sundae in the world - the Golden Opulence Sundae, served in a Baccarat crystal goblet, with 3 scoops of Tahitian vanilla ice cream rolled in 23k edible gold, candied fruit from Paris and the world’s most expensive and rarest chocolates.

OMG It looks DELISH! Almost too good to eat.....almost.

How do you find the golden ticket? They are hidden inside a limited number of new Serendipity ice cream pints, inspired by the restaurants signature sundaes - Frrrozen Hot Chocolate, Forbidden Broadway Sundae, Strawberry Fields Sundae, Humble Pie, Birthday Cake, Outrageous Banana Split, Café Espresso Chip and Vanilla Vogue.

I'll take one of each!

The new pints of ice cream are only available at 7-Eleven stores in the New York Metro area. But by January, they'll be shipped nationwide. Find one and you'll enjoy the thousand dollar sundae at Serendipity 3 in NYC.

Good thing my New Year's resolution won't be dieting. Several trips are in store for 2019 to find the Golden Ticket. And it's a win/win. Even if I don't find it, I still get to eat ice cream!

In the words of Willie Wonka..."However small the chance might be of striking lucky, the chance is there."
