Final Saranac Thursday Goes Country
September 8, 2011 10:10 AM There are a few more Frog Days of Summer events that we can enjoy, and tonight it’s Saranac Thursday. Many of you attend these gatherings each week, and perhaps you haven’t been to one yet.
Well, this is your last chance, as tonight is the final Saranac Thursday of the season. Next week, the Utica Music Fest will kick off in the Varick Street area of Utica. Gates open tonight at the F.X. Matt Brewery parking lot at the corner of Varick and Court Streets around 5 ish, and admission is $5.00, which entitles you to your first beverage (must be 21 years of age for beer). Tonight, Saranac Thursday goes country with a local group you may know…The Fulton Chain Gang. A nice benefit of Saranac Thursdays is that a portion of the proceeds go to the local United Way.
