Hard to believe that it was more than 3 years ago that Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppes founder John MacDougall passed away. In the coming days, the remaining convenience store chain he founded in 1980 will make the transition to Circle K.

Some stores, like the Rome Turin Road location have already made the transition. The Westmoreland store will close at 8 p.m. October 31 and reopen November 1 under the Circle K Banner.

Many of the original stores changed to Cliff's Local Markets and the two companies had been partners for more than 30 years. They currently operate 24 convenience stores.
