Fed Ex Hiring For the Holidays

Looking for a little extra cash this holiday season? Silly question. If you are out of work or have some spare time you’d like to fill FedEx might be the place for you. The Consumerist reports that the company is seeking some 20,000 workers to assist with the expected holiday rush, especially from orders filed by online shoppers. Furthermore, FedEx is not alone.
Amazon just dropped a doozy of a number, which should make plenty of people’s season’s bright — it says it will hire 50,000 workers this year as part of its seasonal hiring plan. Macy’s — 80,000 temporary workers; Toys ‘R’ Us — 45,000 seasonal workers, up 5,000 from last year; Target—about 80,000 workers (which is down from last year) and Kohl’s — 52,700 seasonal workers.
