February Weather Predictions
February 1, 2013 10:10 AM We made it through January, and that in itself means central New York’s winter has only about six weeks left, groundhog or not. So, what is the weather prediction for February?
According to 2013 edition of “The Old Farmer’s Almanac”, here’s what they are prediction for our region during February.
Average temperature: 20 degrees (which is 7 degrees below normal)
Feb. 1 – 6: Lake effect snow, cold
Feb. 7 – 16: Snow showers, cold
Feb. 17 – 19: Sunny & cold
Feb. 20 – 22: Snow, snow showers & cold
Feb. 23 – 28: Snow, then sunny & cold
